Earlier this week Jeff and I headed up to Ravensburg, a bigger city about 45 minutes north west of us. We didn’t have a plan – we just wanted to get out of the house and walk around somewhere a little unfamiliar. Even though it’s relatively close, we only went to Ravensburg about 3ish times last year and haven’t made it this year. I always loved our little treks up there, so it seemed like the perfect place for a stroll. Just one problem when we got there: it was freaking cold. It’s amazing how the climate changes so quickly.
To be totally honest, I was completely unprepared for how cold it was. I had been planning on taking some blog photos sans coat in a thin sweater, but it wasn’t happening. I was thankful I wore my parka and scarf which was able to keep me warm throughout our walk through town (though I def could have used a hat and some warm boots).
On another note, it’s hard to believe tomorrow is Thanksgiving! Since Jeff has a game on Friday we won’t be doing a Thanksgiving dinner until Monday (it’s typically not the best idea to gorge yourself the night before a game, haha!). Since it’s just the two of us, we’ll probably do what we did last year which is turkey schnitzel and some of our favorite sides like mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and sweet potatoes. As weird as it is, I’m kind of liking the German/American Thanksgiving hybrid we came up with.
Kelly is out of town this week, but the Fashion Frenzy Linkup is still live below! Don’t forget to check out my Shopbop sale round up (so many good deals), and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
