When I tell people I live in Washington State, the most common question I get goes along the lines of… “So how do you like all that rain?” I always have to laugh, because for the most part – Spokane isn’t rainy – it’s actually super sunny and hot in the summer.
Despite the fabulous spring/summer weather we usually get here, a few of those April showers made an appearance last week, and I was way too excited to pull out my Hunter boots. Last summer Spokane only got .44 inches of rain, so the boots stayed in my closet collecting dust. Even though my blog name alludes to my love for sun, I was a little desperate for some rain last year. You need a little crappy weather to appreciate the good, right?
I paired my boots with neutrals to let them be star of the show. My leopard cardigan is one of my go-to sweaters, and I am obsessed with the white tank top ($16) I just picked up on sale from Nordstrom. It’s perfectly dressy and casual at the same time. I’ve already worn it a few times.
Otherwise, Jeff and I are leaving for California and Hawaii this week… let the packing begin!
