The past few days, Jeff and I have been going on a few ‘mini-trips’ to towns around where we live. When I say mini – I mean mini. The town we recently visited is called “Wasserburg,” and it’s about a 5 minute drive from our house. Even though it’s so close, we’ve actually never been to this area before. I was pleasantly surprised that it was so peaceful and beautiful.
Without tying to sound like I’m bragging (sorry, North Easterners), the weather has been so amazing lately that I’m always desperate to get out of the house and walk around whenever possible. It’s been sunny and in the high 40’s/ low 50’0s. No winter coat needed. I know it won’t last for much longer, but I definitely try and take advantage of it.
For our stroll around town I rocked my flannel shirt underneath a cardi. It was warm and cozy enough to not need proper coat when walking around (did I mention it was snowing a ton this time last year?). I’ve also been wearing these jeans (similar) non stop, as I have been since I got them. They’re amazing – they feel like leggings but look like jeans and don’t stretch. I’ve had SUCH a problem fitting into my old jean since I started working out my legs/butt last year. They’re one of the few that aren’t too tight on my thighs. If Citizens jeans didn’t cost a small fortune, I’d have 10 pairs.
I know I’ve been kind of slacking over here in general, but I’ve been working on putting together my editorial calendar for the next few weeks. I plan on getting back to my 3 posts a week schedule starting next week. Let me know if there’s any specific content you want to see here in the future!
