Ahoy mateys! Sorry. Had to. This past weekend Jeff and I did one of our favorite things – we went for a random drive around the area. Yes, I realize this makes us sound super old, but it’s one of our favorite ways to discover cute little hidden places. Even when we’re back home in Spokane you can catch us cruising around with no purpose but to explore.
T-Shirt: Shein | Jacket: Walter Baker (similar) | Jeans: Current/Elliott (almost identical on sale!) | Booties: Treasure & Bond | Sunglasses: random gas station (similar) | Bag: Coach | Lips: NYX in Cannes
We had no idea where we were going, but I threw on an easy, casual outfit for the car ride. I was feeling some nautical-Americana vibes, so I paired my striped tee with a jean jacket and my red Coach bag. It’s only fitting that we stumbled across a little harbor in a nearby lake town called Kressbonn. There was a little cafe right on the water, so we swung in and enjoyed a glass of local wine. I have become obsessed with the Müller-Thurgau grape variety, it’s so light and tangy. Perfect for hanging out in the sunshine. I actually think it’s becoming more popular in the US, so if you like whites you have to head to the store and pick up a bottle – they’re super affordable! I def consider our little drive a success and hope we can have a few more driving adventures around here before we go home for the summer!
