Every year as the weather warms up, I find myself digging into my Spring wardrobe and pulling out a few pieces from the previous years. It’s like going shopping in my own closet. Each piece feels fresh and I love trying to figure out ways to style them with my existing winter wardrobe for that perfect transitional style.
This denim mini skirt from Zara is one of my favorite purchases of last year – it goes with just about everything and I love the bright blue color (similar). I paired it with a simple with tee and leather jacket and added my black OTK boots to keep my legs warm. There’s definitely some long warm socks inside these boots. Even though it’s getting warmer out, it is definitely not mini skirt and sandals weather yet. I just couldn’t keep my Spring gear packed away any longer. Anyone else feel the same way?
One thing I do want to quickly mention is this highlighter and eyeshadow palette my friend Jenn introduced me to. I am obsessed and need to shout it from the rooftops. I had been wanted to get a highlighter palette forever, but couldn’t find one that was affordable. I mean, I love the Anastasia Glow palette, but didn’t want to invest $40 in something I wasn’t sure I would use. This one by BH Cosmetics is the perfect alternative. It’s under $15 and I was so surprised about how pigmented the shadows and highlighters are… I love swiping the highlight on my cheekbone and I’ve been using it everyday. Just thought you guys should know because I feel like this is the key to all affordable highlighting glory. It’s a collab with a Youtube beauty vlogger and does sell out frequently, so make sure you get your hands on one!
